Freelance Paradise

     For more than four years, I'm officially working-at-home mom. The case is that when I turned out to be pregnant I had quite responsible position in my office and had plenty of work there. And the company couldn't offer me anything easier, since they were experiencing shortage of employees and all the candidates then were inappropriate ones. To put it shortly, I quieted. However, I can't say that my husband then was on the top of career ladder, thus, to normally arrange our financial issues, I couldn't give up working at all. Here's the way of my becoming a freelance writer. I've chosen this mode of work, since it provided an opportunity to stay at home, work whenever I want according to my health condition.   

Moreover, I was always fond of writing and I decided to develop myself in this very field. After baby's birth, I was still working, since I have plenty of time at home when he was asleep. It's not much harder to bring up children being a freelance mommy. Taking into account the fact that I consider my work as a hobby. And it is great. I'm so happy that I made such a decision then. I can dedicate so much time for my family. As a break at work, I can serve a delicious dinner, as a pause, I can play with kids. What can be better for a mom?

Little Finances

     I've already written how interesting the theme of children and money is (Young businessmen). And now, I would like to focus on it once more,

     Being a parent, I want my child to be wise in all the spheres of his life, including financial one. Concerning this very issue, though, I think that it is better to forget a little bit about money itself here and focus more on other aspects. By this I mean that it's better not to teach your child that money is good, since having it a child can afford many cool stuff, and, therefore, he or she should save money.
                                           

     To my mind, it is better to explain that money is the result of hard work and dedication. That's why, a kid should spend them wisely. Moreover, money is a some kind of future-protector which will allow later to get education and to develop personally. On the other hand, it is necessary to emphasize that money can be the way of helping other people, by this I mean charity, and to explain that one day a kid can have loads of money which can cover all his/her family's needs and demands. And then, such a state of situation is a great opportunity to help others.

      I help my child with his home assignments. I have to admit that I have absolutely humanitarian turn of mind, and sometimes it’s rather hard for me to deal with some math tasks. Thus, I use some online services which provide ready-made home tasks, so that I can check the results performed by my kid. 

     Consequently, I always know the right answers and results, and to tell you the truth, it’s always pleasant to be thought by your offspring to be a genius. So, the method is simple. I look at my child’s assignments, order it to be done and sent me back via e-mail, try to understand it, and then explain it to my boy, in case he makes some mistakes. 

      Everything would be perfect if it wasn’t for my kid’s curiosity. He found out my clever plan. He saw as I was looking for some details in computer and asked me why there are his assignments on my desktop. I had to tell the truth and now I have to check his online history, so that he can’t use the same services as I used. 

Rewarding. Pros and Cons.

     A commonplace method of bringing up children is rewarding. The issue has either its supporters or its opponents. Personally, I belong to the category of parents who retort to it rather moderately. I can explain it. The case is I don’t want to gift my child something for some simple good deeds. In this way, I believe, it is possible to receive rather pragmatic person, who will be kind to people only knowing that he or she will have something in return for it. Concerning this issue, I try to speak, to explain basic moral principles which should be ground for everyone’s life.

     On the other hand, it is essential to encourage children for their success, for example, educational and sport fields. They should know that all this is deliberate way to receive some materialistic rewards in the future. Dealing with the sphere which presupposes prospects, a child should know why he or she should move forward.
     This is my personal opinion and I believe that it will have extremely positive result.
